External Link External Link is the object used to specify a link to a topic contained in another (external) help file having WinHelp format (.hlp). Note that HTML Help also supports use of such links. Inserting the Object Select the text you want to make a link from. Choose the External Link command from the Insert menu or click the appropriate button on the Insert toolbar. Specify link properties at the dialog box. Then click OK.
